This Notice explains how we process (e.g. collect, use, store, and share) your personal data  when you request access to Novo Nordisk Veeva Vault PromoMats. We will process any personal data about you in accordance with this notice and with applicable law.

  • We get your personal data from you directly.
  • We get it from you when you apply for access to Novo Nordisk Veeva Vault PromoMats.

You are not required to provide us with your personal data. If you do not want Novo Nordisk to use your personal data (name, e-mail, company, location), we will not be able to provide system access to Novo Nordisk Veeva Vault PromoMats.

  • We will process your information (email address, name, company name and location)
  • Because you provided the information when you applied for access to to Novo Nordisk Veeva Vault PromoMats and consented to us saving this personal data.

By law, we are allowed to process your personal data if:

  • you gave consent for us to process your personal data. In our contact forms you have to accept this notice to be able to submit your request.

  • Suppliers or vendors that assist our company (e.g., consultants, IT service providers, law firms, license partners)
  • Other Novo Nordisk entities (e.g., Novo Nordisk affiliates in other countries)

The level of data protection in certain countries outside the EEA does not conform to the level of data protection for personal data currently applied and enforced within the EEA.

We therefore use the following safeguards, as required by law, to protect your personal data in case of such transfers:

  • The transfer is to a Novo Nordisk entity covered by Novo Nordisk’s Binding Corporate Rules, available at https://www.novonordisk.com/about-novo-nordisk/corporate-governance/personal-data-protection.html.
  • The destination countries are deemed by the EU Commission to have an adequate level of protection of personal data
  • We have entered into Standard Contractual Clauses for the Transfer of Personal Data to Third Countries. You can get a copy of the Clauses by contacting us as described in the top of this page.

  • When your user account has been inactive for 3 months, it will be automatically be deactivated and you will need to request access again. Your data (first name, last name, email address and country) will still be stored also if your user account is deactivated.

  • You can obtain further information on the personal data which we store and processes about you and to the extent you have such right under applicable law, you can get a copy of your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. Further, you may object to your personal data being processed or request that your personal data is rectified. Furthermore, you may withdraw your consent to our processing of your personal data at any time.

  • Under applicable law, there may be limits on these rights depending on the specific circumstances of the processing activity.
  • If you have any complaints about our processing of your personal data, you may contact the Data Protection Agency in your country, e.g. this would be the Danish Data Protection Agency if you are a citizen in Denmark.
